Mace Blasts School Board For Having Parents Arrested
Mace’s remarks came came in the wake of the head of the American Federation of Teachers, Randi Weingarten, saying that Republican leaders were “bullying teachers” for teaching or promoting CRT.
The Daily Mail reported that Weingarten claimed Republicans were trying to stop educators “from teaching kids honest history.”
Mace responded to Weingarten’s charges on Fox News, telling co-host Sandra Smith, “The last time I checked, bullying would be arresting a parent at a school board hearing who was exercising their First Amendment rights, and it was on Fox News earlier this week when I heard about the father of a student in Virginia who was arrested for speaking out against critical race theory.”
“I myself, as a Republican, have been a victim of political violence,” Mace said. “My house was just graffitied.”

Mace: Critical Race Theory A ‘Marxist Ideology’
Mace then really laid it in on those promoting CRT.
“We need to take responsibility and be accountable as a parent particularly on a Marxist ideology being shoved down the throats of American children, teaching them they are inherently racist, and that is wrong,” Mace insisted.
Florida and other states have banned the teaching of Critical Race Theory in classrooms.
“Some of this stuff is, I think, really toxic,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in June. “I think it’s going to cause a lot of divisions.”
“I think it’ll cause people to think of themselves more as a member of particular race based on skin color, rather than based on the content of their character and based on their hard work and what they’re trying to accomplish in life,” DeSantis stressed.
There has also been a massive surge in school board recalls across the country over the matter as parents discover what is being taught in classrooms.
