MUST WATCH! Rand Paul Owned Gotcha Segment with NBC Savannah Guthrie

This is why people hate the legacy media. Lowbrow, simpleton, gotcha questions from positions taken a decade ago and left-wing hosts trying to make news.

To many viewers, Senator Rand Paul is very interesting and the jury may be out on their decision this early in the process. It would be so refreshing if NBC would have a conversation with these candidates like Brian Williams used to do with Barack Obama.

Don’t misunderstand that last statement. I’m not suggesting they do it on their knees like Williams did. Less foolish gotcha stuff would be more productive, but in the end NBC is an arm of the DNC, so this is standard fare.

Watch the NBC interview with Rand Paul below:

By the look on Guthrie’s face, she probably wishes she could have backed out of the room.

It must be very convenient for you to be able to change history ln your postings. On the other side, it must discouraging that sane people take your comments for what they're worth: the ravings of a lunatic.

  • “Gotcha” ?

Rand Paul has a history of changing his mind and reversing himself on issues.

First, he said Iran was no threat to the United States. Then he said it was.

    Hmm.

Doesn’t it seem reasonable to ask him about why he changed his mind?

You might not remember... G.H.W. Bush was considered “Milqtoast” before he ran for President.

But he was interviewed by Dan Rather, and staged a deliberate attack, rudely over-riding the interviewer to make himself look tough.

And when Dan Rather tried to ask him a question after he stopped speaking, Bush 41 pulled the “You’re interrupting me, I was n’t finished” trick.

Does this sound a bit familiar now?

Yup. Rand Paul was using the same tactic to try to avoid discussing why he’s changed his positions.

I’m not saying politicians should never change their minds. But if you’re asked about it, you should be ready with a list of reasons WHY your beliefs have changed.

    • No need to ask Jkirk3279 which party he belongs to! I think Paul did an excellent job of reigning Savannah in - she ought to learn some manners, and how to let an interviewee answer the questions she asks. She's very rude - but I'll be willing to bet she'll kowtow to Hillary and NOT interrupt, but hang on to her every word while drooling all over herself!
