Muslim Group Trying to Block Judge Jeanine From Receiving Award

Popular Fox News host Judge Jeanine had her program canceled last Saturday when she went after Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s recent anti-Semitic remarks. Jeanine said that Omar was following Sharia Law and not the Constitution to which the congresswoman took an oath, focusing specifically on the hijab Omar wears.

“Omar wears the hijab, which according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested,” Pirro said. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”

The Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) protested Pirro’s comments and demanded she be punished, which led to Fox News suspending the host.

These comments might come back to haunt Pirro again now that CAIR is leading the fight to prevent her from receiving an upcoming award.

Pirro is scheduled to receive the Hance Award from the St. Barnabas Health System in Pittsburgh. According to the organization’s website, recipients of the award are “men and women who represent the visionary leadership, spiritual, compassionate and innovative spirit of the man who founded St. Barnabas in 1900, Gouverneur Provoost Hance. The Hance Award is presented to a person of national acclaim who exemplifies Hance’s ideals of benevolence, patriotism and service to others.”

But CAIR wants this honor to Pirro blocked.

But at least one conservative wasn’t putting up with the attacks: Michelle Malkin.

“MALKIN ACTION ALERT: Contact St. Barnabas Health System and ask them NOT to pander to un-indicted terror co-conspirators and hate crime hoax spreaders,” she tweeted.

She didn’t stop there.

Will St. Barnabas buckle and deny Judge Jeanine her award? Will it take more than just Michele Malkin to push back on this witch hunt?

Who knows. We do know her show won’t air this week either and CAIR couldn’t be happier.

Hopefully, the good Judge will still get her award and will be back on Fox News sooner than later – liberals be damned.
