MSNBC guest Sarah Kendzior, a regular contributor to the network, pushed a conspiracy theory that Donald Trump was “installed” as President as a means to benefit Vladimir Putin.
Kendzior pushed the conspiracy theory during a weekend appearance on “The Cross Connection,” after being prompted to comment on Trump’s recent comments which the media have falsely pushed as genuinely ‘heaping praise’ upon Putin.
Kendzior piggybacked off the claims and launched a new conspiracy theory of her own.
“Trump was installed as the President of the United States in order to weaken the alliances that were preventing Putin from achieving his goals,” she claimed. “Alliances like NATO, our relationship with our European partners, our relationship with Ukraine.”
Host Tiffany Cross failed to interject or counter the claims, eventually just giving assent to Kendzior’s conspiracy theory.
“Trump was put in as a bulldozer and he was put in as a bulldozer to the Constitution, to our system of checks and balances, to our system of institutional trust,” Kendzior continues.

Trump Wasn’t ‘Installed’ To Benefit Putin
Rather than admonish Sarah Kendzior for sharing such a wild conspiracy theory, MSNBC has been promoting her comments on social media.
Rather than deplatform her for misinformation, social media outlets have left her free to spread further falsehoods.
Donald Trump won the 2016 election with 304 electoral votes to Clinton’s 227.
Unless Putin had some say on how the electoral college was constructed, neither he nor any other Russian official had Trump “installed” to strengthen him by ‘weakening’ alliances held by the United States.

They’ve Called Him Illegitimate For Years
At a time when left-wing media outlets and left-wing social media companies claim to be “combating misionformation,” they still prop up people like Kendzior to spout conspiracy theories far wilder than anything from the height of the Cold War.
Kendzior’s comments are no different than several mainstream Democrats.
Stacey Abrams, credited with helping deliver a victory for Joe Biden during the last presidential cycle, claimed Trump was an “illegitimate” President.
“Anytime a leader is afraid of people speaking their minds and making their selections, he is illegitimate and should not hold office,” she argued.

President Jimmy Carter advanced the conspiracy theory that Trump was an illegitimate President who actually lost the election in 2016.
“I think a full investigation would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016,” he said in 2019. “He lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf.”

And of course, there is two-time presidential loser Hillary Clinton who, in an interview just prior to the 2020 election, suggested Trump did not win the previous election through legitimate means.
“Remember, as I said, he lives with this specter of illegitimacy,” she said. “He knows more about how he got really elected than we still do. Hopefully, we’ll learn more in the years ahead.”
“I was the candidate that they basically stole an election from,” Clinton alleged.
There is no difference between Kendzior’s comments and those by mainstream Democrat politicians. They all believe Trump was “installed” to the benefit of Vladimir Putin.
And none of them will be “canceled” or banned from social media, or even criticized by the left.
