Michelle Obama Cried After Trump’s Inauguration

Following Donald Trump’s inauguration, Michelle Obama admits she “sobbed for 30 minutes.”

The former First Lady described her tearful breakdown in an interview with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her new memoir, Becoming.

Despite shredding President Trump in the book and admitting she couldn’t even force a smile during the inaugural proceedings, Obama says her breakdown on the plane shortly thereafter had nothing to do with him, but everything to do with her.

“When I got on the plane, I sobbed for 30 minutes,” she recalled.

“I think it was just the release of eight years trying to do everything perfectly,” Obama explained. “I said to Barack: ‘That was so hard, what we just did. That was so hard.'”

What was so hard for Michelle?

Had Obama claimed she and her husband failed to do anything remotely perfectly, then we might buy into the reason for her tears.

Whether it was hosting the “Biggest Loser” or potato sack races in the White House, embarrassing herself while Barack took selfies at a memorial service for Nelson Mandela, or her school lunch policies which left kids hungry and schools losing money at epic rates, Michelle was the farthest thing from perfect.

Regardless, perpetually failing isn’t necessarily a difficult thing, especially when you had a personal staff of 16 people helping you on a daily basis, four times as many aides as current First Lady Melania Trump.

Michelle Obama previously said the hardest part was enduring the racism

Previously, Michelle claimed the hardest part about her eight years in the White House wasn’t trying to be perfect, it was all those racist Americans.

Obama said that after “working really hard for this country,” there would still be people “who won’t see me for what I am because of my skin color.”

Don’t you see, people? She worked so hard and tried to be so ‘perfect’ for this country, and none of you appreciated it because you’re a bunch of racist jerks.

She really thinks she’s perfect

The more she speaks, the more it seems Barack’s narcissism is rubbing off on Michelle Obama.

Aside from claiming she was spent from trying to be so ‘perfect,’ she has promoted her own intelligence as a compelling argument for running for President herself, though she admits she has no plans to do so.

“Just because … I’m smart and intelligent doesn’t mean I should be the next president,” she said during a speech in April.

Then there was the time she wanted to clone herself.

“This is why I’m not going to run for president because I think it’s a better investment to invest in creating thousands of me’s,'” she said.

“We don’t just need one (Michelle Obama), we need thousands and thousands.”

Thousands and thousands of petty, narcissistic, sobbing failures? No thanks.
