Michael Moore Loses It When Trump Prays for Virginia Beach Victims

President made a stop at a church on Sunday afternoon and a Hollywood liberal has nothing but criticism

The president of the United States made an impromptu stop at an evangelical church on Sunday, ahead of his state visit to the United Kingdom, to take part in prayers for the victims of the Virginia Beach shooting on Friday — and a left-wing celebrity long known for his anti-Trump stance seemed to lose his mind over it.

The president stopped at McLean Bible Church in Vienna, Virginia. There, pastor-teacher David Platt at one point asked those in attendance to “pray for our president.”

“We pray that he would look to You, that he would trust in You, he would lean on You,” the pastor said. “That he would govern and make decisions in ways that are good for justice, and good for righteousness and good for equity, every good path,” as The Washington Times reported.

Those specific prayers for the president seemed to be part of last week’s national call by the Rev. Franklin Graham that all churches and Christians pray for the president this past Sunday.

Dewayne Craddock, 40, killed 12 people in a horrific shooting spree on Friday afternoon.

He wounded others as well, four of whom are said to be in critical condition.

Eleven of those who died were fellow employees of the city of Virginia Beach, where Craddock also worked.

Yet some left-wing celebrities and longtime sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome chose to aim their wrath directly at President Donald Trump when he stopped into a church on Sunday and took some time to pray.

“Seriously, WTF is this?” wrote filmmaker and anti-Trumper Michael Moore on Twitter.

“At what the WH said was ‘a memorial for the 12 shot dead in Virginia Beach’ (it wasn’t), Trump, looking nothing like Trump, randomly wanders onto the altar in his golf shoes & cap, decides to stay for 15 min, then leaves, having thrown his curve at reality.”

Others could focus on almost nothing but the president’s hair.

The president took the time to pray — and undoubtedly will do more of that in the days and weeks to come.

Isn’t that what matters?

Moore should know that the lives of the 12 deceased are far more important than what someone was wearing or how he happened to look for one moment in time.
