To the shock and horror of liberals everywhere, President Donald Trump opted not to host a Ramadan dinner at the White House this year, a tradition dating back to the Clinton administration.
Instead, he and First Lady Melania Trump attended Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin’s wedding to actress Louise Linton; and while the bride looked beautiful, the First Lady stole the show in a pink J. Mendel gown:
The pink dress featured soft pleats at the bodice that added a flourish to the body-skimming silhouette. It also recalled the effect of the Hervé Pierre dress that Trump wore to the Easter egg roll this April. A beige clutch coordinated with Trump’s stilettos to finish the look.
Melania certainly likes the color pink. Besides the Easter Egg Roll, she also wore pink to the Red Cross Ball in February, and again when she and POTUS received a tour of the Murabba Palace in Saudi Arabia. This may be my favorite pink dress of hers so far, though; I love how soft and feminine, yet perfectly chic and elegant it is.
