The media just won’t stop attacking Donald Trump’s family, and the latest claim against their happiness has come from s new tell-all book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” written by Michael Wolff.

In the book, Wolff claims that First Lady Melania Trump is so unhappy with her husband that they sleep in separate bedrooms. Additionally, he claims that Melania cried tears of sorrow when Trump won the presidency – and that Trump himself was terrified.

“Shortly after 8 p.m. on Election Night,” Wolff writes, “when the unexpected trend — Trump might actually win — seemed confirmed, Don Jr. told a friend that his father, or DJT, as he calls him, looked as if he had seen a ghost. Melania was in tears — and not of joy.”

This is far from the first time someone has claimed that Melania was saddened by Trump’s victory. In November, Vanity Fair writer Sarah Ellison claimed that Melania didn’t want to be First Lady.

But Melania, ever poised, issued a statement through her hitting back at Wolff’s claim. Stephanie Grisham, Melania’s communications director, said that Wolff’s book “is clearly going to be sold in the bargain fiction section” and that Melania “supported her husband’s decision to run for President.”

Wolff makes some equally egregious claims about Trump in his book. As he writes, “There was, in the space of little more than an hour, in Steve Bannon’s not unamused observation, a befuddled Trump morphing into a disbelieving Trump and then into a horrified Trump. But still to come was the final transformation: Suddenly, Donald Trump became a man who believed that he deserved to be, and was wholly capable of being, the president of the United States.”

But Trump issued a scathing statement in response making it crystal clear that Bannon has “nothing to do with me or my Presidency.”

Donald Trump is President of the United States, and Melania Trump is our beautiful, gracious, and capable First Lady. When will the anti-Trumpers realize this and move on?
