Megyn Kelly Just Made a BIG Claim About Donald Trump

Megyn Kelly sat down with PBS’ Charlie Rose for an in-depth interview, and as you could guess, the topic of GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump emerged. Kelly hasn’t talked that much, if at all, about what went down between her and Trump during and after the GOP debate that Fox News held in August. Yes, it seems like an eternity ago.

In this interview with Rose, Kelly gave her perception of what went down between her, her employer Roger Ailes, and Trump.

“Neither one of us wanted any war with Donald Trump. We didn’t think that benefitted the channel, we didn’t think it benefitted me, and we don’t think it benefitted Donald Trump,” said Kelly, adding that she believes Trump would agree.

Kelly wanted to make it clear she wanted “forge forward and put it behind us and not pour anymore fuel on that fire.”

Then she dropped this bombshell that could help fix everything and probably turn out to be a bonanza for both her and Trump. Rose asked her if she was open to having Trump back on her show, and she said:

“I’m sure he’ll come back on eventually,” she said. “Don’t you think that’ll be a big television moment?”

Listen, let’s give credit where credit is due. Megyn started the whole mess by asking Trump silly non-policy questions to start the debate. One was about tweets that included Rosie O’Donnell, and the other was a matter about a segment on this TV show The Apprentice. We all knew it was supposed to ruin Trump’s campaign, but it backfired on her.

Watch the video report here:

I hope Trump will say no, but if he says yes, I hope he will be civil and not give her more talking points.

Should Trump go on the Kelly File and squash the beef or do you think they should just let sleeping dogs lie and continue on with what they are doing? Share your comments below and add this to your Facebook/Twitter timeline.

  • The opinions expressed here distort the facts. No matter which side you support, you should look for the truth elsewhere.

  • Media people who attempt to make themselves the news instead of just reporting it practice yellow journalism. We have no need for people like that.

    • I would have given you a thumbs up and let it go at that if that were still possible.

However I will add that this was yellow journalism mixed with Political Correctness.

Kelly didn't ask any questions about the ISSUES - only about emotions, and worse yet, phrased in a way to give the impression that Trump's comments about Odonald applied to ALL WOMEN.

Kelly doesn't even realize that she is saying that women don't vote on the issues.

  • This hag is a liar. She engineered all of it to put herself on a pedestal. She knew that if she attacked Trump and treated him with an air of discrimination that it would cause controversy and benefit her. Days later we learned that she was in fact in negotiations on some contract to benefit her career. I really don't understand why nobody sees through this bimbo. She has a law degree but then chooses television journalism as a career. Why? Obviously because it is far more ego satiating than parading around a courtroom and you needn't be nearly as smart to schmooze your way into journalism! Megyn Kelly is farcical and frankly I am shocked that her program has done so well. It tells me that the perpetual dumbing down of America is in full stride. First people abdicated common network news. Now it must be time to turn backs on cable news. Nobody watches CNN or MSNBC anyway and frankly the screechy twats at Headline News are so full of themselves that they aren't worth watching either. I have gravitated toward "Newsmax TV" and find it far more satisfying and worthy than anything else. How can it be in this advanced day and age that there is just no integrity in pure, honest news reporting?

  • No, Trump should not boost this pseudo-journalists ratings or lend her any credibility. Regardless of the disrespect he has received from the press including the arrogant and presumptuous Ms. Kelly he is a serious contender for the highest office in this land and shouldn't waste his time on bimbo's like Megyn Kelly or Candy Crowley who only want to use true public figures to try to insert themselves into the process to boost their own careers.

    Fail Megyn.

    • Love that Bimbo remark it fits both of those big headed women to a T. Listening to Candy Crowley talk is just as bad as Megyn Kelly. Air heads both of them.
