Meghan McCain is leaving the Fox News network.
This revelation comes via Variety. The network said in a statement, “Meghan has been a valuable part of ‘Outnumbered’ and the Fox News team. We’re sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best.”
McCain herself confirmed the news over Twitter:
I’m so thankful to @FoxNews for the chance to be on @OutnumberedFNC but I’m leaving to focus on other things, I have no doubt the show will

It’s been a rough year for the McCain family. Meghan’s father, Senator John McCain, was diagnosed with a severe form of cancer earlier this year. Meghan has been spending more time with him recently:

McCain joins a growing list of departing talent on Fox News. Just a week ago today, it was announced that Eric Bolling left the network.
