Media’s Obsession With Taking Down Trump Perfectly Illustrated

The American media’s liberal bias has been readily apparent for decades, but the depth at which it runs has never truly been illustrated until somebody they thoroughly despise came into power in the White House.

Sure, there were many hints of the breadth of corruption in an industry that once prided itself on facts and investigative work when President George W. Bush arrived.

But never has it been more clearly on display than when Donald Trump started campaigning to be commander-in-chief back in 2015. A man they had lauded for his public service for decades, a man who won awards from the NAACP, and had never been mentioned as a ‘racist’ in the public eye, was now suddenly enemy number one in the media’s eye.

Nowhere is this summed up quite as well than in the following meme. The scandals coming out of prominent Democrat circles have largely been squashed, ignored, or buried quickly.

By contrast, the ridiculous Stormy Daniels affair for President Trump, a consensual event between adults, albeit morally reprehensible, has no bearing on the President’s duties. Run a Google search on Stormy, however, and you get well over 2 million articles referencing the heretofore obscure porn actress.

The hypocrisy is incredible …

The obsession with Stormy has even led to her mainstream acceptance in the entertainment industry. No, the regular entertainment industry, not just the adult one.

She made an appearance in a “Saturday Night Live” sketch in which she trashed ‘President Trump,’ played by the talent-deprived Alec Baldwin, warning him that “a storm’s a-coming.”

They’re glorifying a porn star to get to Trump!

Meanwhile, the other stories in that list are all fairly well established at this point. But take a look at the last one regarding John Kerry.

It’s a relatively new story getting little to no coverage on the major media networks. In the glory years of media, in which they tried to uncover corruption and the truth, there would have been a relentless pursuit of the facts and Kerry would be exposed.

A former Secretary of State violating the Logan Act by undermining current foreign policy under the Trump administration and secretly negotiating with foreign leaders to keep President Obama’s Iranian nuclear deal intact is, pardon the pun, a bombshell.

A Democrat committing acts bordering on treason gets little to no coverage, but a porn star who may have had an affair with the President many years ago is worthy of wall-to-wall coverage.

That’s today’s media in a nutshell. They have no motivation to seek the truth or uncover corruption on both sides, they simply seek to take down a President they hate personally.
