MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner claims President Trump may be guilty of some level of negligent homicide for his response to the coronavirus crisis.
It what amounts to little more than an attention-seeking social media barrage, Kirschner tweeted that his career as a federal prosecutor allows him to analyze whether the President may be subject to “some level of negligent homicide or voluntary/involuntary manslaughter” over the way he has navigated the crisis.
There isn’t a large enough tin foil hat in the world to appropriately convey the level of stupidity involved in this conspiracy theory.
Is He Guilty?
Kirschner proceeded to go on a tirade, alleging he was attempting “to fairly assess whether Trump and his administration may have acted/failed to act in a way that could give rise to homicide liability.”
His conclusion brought you exactly where you would expect. Kirschner ran down a litany of crimes that the President is ‘guilty’ of in his own mind and suggested they all need to be investigated together.
“Whereas the evidence is clear that Trump has committed multiple criminal offenses both before his tenure as president (campaign finance crimes) [and] during his time as president (obstruction of justice, bribery/extortion) homicide liability by his negligent/grossly negligent (and/or possibly intentional) mishandling of the Coronavirus crisis in the US is a more nuanced and thorny issue and deserves careful consideration,” he suggested.
“But the homicide liability issue MUST be addressed because ALL criminal charges will have to be investigated and, if the evidence dictates it, prosecuted come Jan. 2021,” he added. “Stay tuned.”

What a Lunatic
Interesting, isn’t it, that Kirschner begins his rant by claiming he would “fairly assess” the situation, then does so by making false accusations for other criminal activity that Trump has never been found guilty of.
He later demonstrated his ‘fairness’ by referring to the President as a “350-pound ball of callousness.”
The first response to Kirschner’s assertion that Trump may be guilty of negligent homicide may be the most appropriate – “You’re a lunatic.”
Can someone please tally the number of times this 350 pound ball of callousness talks about how great the economy is & will be again as compared to how many time he says ANYTHING designed to comfort the sick, the fearful and the dying! Can someone in the White House shut him up!

Not the Only One
If you thought Kirschner’s raging stupidity was limited to just himself, you’d be sadly mistaken.
CNN political commentator Joe Lockhart, who was a Clinton White House Press Secretary while Kirschner was working as a federal prosecutor, ranted about how Fox News is also likely guilty of such charges.
Lockhart claims a new tone out of personalities like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham about the seriousness of the situation “was driven by Fox legal who anticipated massive legal liability if they continued to peddle false information.”
Mark Judson, a former Democrat candidate for Congress, directly responded to Kirschner’s rant with a fancy chart that allegedly shows President Trump is “directly” responsible for the potential deaths of over 4 million people.
“We charge Trump and culpable members of his administration with these deaths,” he wrote in red for added drama.
The calculation looks basically like this. The number infected would also increase as a result of Trump* in addition to the fatality rate.
But this is the base template IMHO. pic.twitter.com/0Spr1GgCRo

The Real World
There’s the media bubble that produces borderline cases of mental illness that get propped up as an authority on networks like CNN and MSNBC, and then there is reality.
And here is the reality:
- Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the key to saving lives is to “contain the influx of people who are infected coming from the outside.”
- Dr. Ronny Jackson, former lead White House doctor appointed by Barack Obama, said President Trump’s ‘quick and decisive’ actions have saved “countless American lives.”
While most of the nation is rallying around President Trump during this time of crisis (see Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Dana Bash, Joe Scarborough, etc.) the aforementioned clowns are smearing him as a murderer.
Just when you thought the media couldn’t sink any lower, they always prove you wrong.
