Hollywood Legend Mary Tyler Moore Died from Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Last week, The Political Insider reported that Hollywood icon Mary Tyler Moore tragically passed away at the age of 80. At the time, we were unaware of Ms. Moore’s cause of death, but according to her death certificate, obtained by TMZ, she died from cardiopulmonary arrest, brought on my multiple ailments, including pneumonia.

Mary Tyler Moore was best known for starring in The Mary Tyler Moore Show in which the actress played a single woman working as a news producer in Minneapolis. Moore also appeared on The Dick Van Dyke Show from 1961-1966.

In addition to her lengthy television career, Moore also had a successful film career, which included an appearance in the film “Ordinary People” and earned an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination.
