On Sunday, Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn said that if Joe Biden is elected president, he would not be able to stop demands from the left to pack the Supreme Court.
The conservative Republican made her comments during a phone call with grassroots activists.

“This is not a leader who knows how to make a decision,” Blackburn warned of Biden. “He appears to be powerless when it comes to opposing the left.”
Blackburn noted an interview Biden had recently done in which he was asked if Americans had the right to know if he plans to pack the court before they cast their ballots in November.
“No, they don’t,” a seemingly aggravated Biden told Las Vegas reporter Ross DiMattei.
Blackburn said of Biden’s exchange with the reporter, “Why does he get physically angry anytime a reporter dares to ask him his most basic position on questions that pertain to the three branches of government?”
Blackburn believes voters should have an answer on potential court packing before the election, not after.
Her message: Press Biden and the Democrats on this issue hard.
“What is the appropriate number of justices for the Supreme Court?” she asked. “If it is nine he needs to say nine. If it is more than nine, then how many?”
“When they lose elections they scream about changing the rules,” Blackburn said, making her case that Democrats are fond of changing the rules when things aren’t going their way.
For the left, the “norms” are always changing.
“That is what we hear the left doing every day,” she said. “They talk about their norms and insinuations, but their first strategy is to try and blow up those norms.”

The senator mocked the left for trying to portray Republicans who want answers about court packing as partisans who are merely “politicizing” the issue.
No, she insisted, Republicans, just like Democratic members of Congress, took an oath to uphold the Constitution.
Republicans are trying to protect the integrity of our constitutional order.
Blackburn warned, “Make no mistake, when they talk about packing the Supreme Court, they are talking about a partisan takeover and overthrow of one of our three branches of government.”
