The politics of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey are no secret. In fact, they’re pretty much in line with the rest of the folks he lives alongside in San Francisco, which is to say they are far-left.

His politics, and the liberal corporate culture at large within Twitter, is on display when it comes to the management of their website. There are no shortage of high profile conservatives who have been banned from Twitter: provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, YouTube personality “Sargon of Akkad,” and GotNews founder Chuck Johnson, among many others.  Heck, President Trump himself probably would’ve been kicked off Twitter already if analysts didn’t estimate that he alone adds $2 billion to the company’s value.

The social giant’s bias showed again yesterday when they decided to censor Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, who recently announced that she’s be running for the Senate seat being vacated by Bob Corker of Tennessee. Why? Because she released a campaign ad in which she made a statement about the sale of fetal tissue for medical research. “I’m 100% pro-life. I fought Planned Parenthood, and we stopped the sale of baby body parts — thank God.”

And because of her line “failing” to support the commercial use of aborted body parts, Twitter decided that the ad was “inflammatory” and “negative,” resulting in it being taken down. You’d think the geniuses over at Twitter would be aware of the Streisand Effect (whereas trying to remove a piece of information makes people more likely to seek it out), because the ad is now getting more attention than Blackburn could’ve ever imagined.

Most of the Twittersphere blasted the social media network for the censorship:

You know what’s inflammatory? Killing babies and selling their body parts.

What do you think? Was the Blackburn ad inflammatory? Why is Twitter punishing someone for criticizing the practice of harvesting aborted baby parts? Tell us your thoughts below and share this story over Facebook!
