Joe Manchin Faces Heat from Democrat Activists After Kavanaugh Confirmation Vote

Even liberals should be scared of the increasingly violent rhetoric from the Left – because it’s not just conservatives who are being targeted. Anyone who veers off the ideological reservation of the increasingly socialist Left is viewed as no different from the opposition (which in these insanely politically charged times, usually ends up with them branded a “Nazi”). West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, the sole Democrat to vote for the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, is the latest to learn that lesson.

Manchin’s “yes” vote is in keeping with his constituents, who are largely rural Trump supporters. Trump won West Virginia by an incredible 42 point margin. While Manchin was doing his job to give voice to the interests of those he represents, that didn’t matter to the hysterical activists on the far-left.

Behold, from Yahoo News:

Danielle Walker cried on Joe Manchin’s shoulder after she shared her story of sexual assault in the senator’s office. She thought he listened.

The 42-year-old Morgantown woman said she was both devastated and furious when Manchin became the only Democrat in the U.S. Senate to support President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

“I feel raped all over again,” Walker told The Associated Press.

There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how preposterous, ridiculous, ludicrous, and unhinged some of these Democrats truly are.

More from Yahoo!: “A day after Manchin broke with his party on what may be the most consequential vote of the Trump era, the vulnerable Democrat is facing a political firestorm back home. While Republicans — including one of the president’s sons — are on the attack, the most passionate criticism is coming from Manchin’s very own Democratic base, a small but significant portion of the electorate he needs to turn out in force to win re-election next month.”

If there’s one thing that liberals don’t like, it’s when people don’t act like they’re supposed to (which you can see on full display anytime you see a minority Republican arguing with a lib).

Meanwhile, the New York Times‘ headline on Manchin’s vote and the reception reads “Joe Manchin’s Yes on Kavanaugh Finds Sympathy in West Virginia.” Well, duh.

Manchin saved himself by distinguishing himself from his fellow Democrats – because the American public rightly viewed the anti-Kavanaugh theatrics that Senate Democrats put on as insane. For every supporter Manchin lost because of his vote, he probably gained more:

And just a random thought – why does the media portray it as courageous and brave for Lisa Murkowski to defy the Republican Party and vote against Kavanaugh, but a betrayal for Manchin to do the opposite? It’s clear where their interests lie.
