Man Who Vowed to ‘Kill All White Police’ Officers Arrested at White House

He must have assumed the era of acceptable racism and violence against police brought in by the previous administration was still in vogue.

Michael Arega traveled from Dallas, Texas to Washington, D.C. after posting a social media message warning that he was ‘going to the White House’ and “kill all white police!”

Thankfully, Arega’s wife alerted authorities to Arega’s statements.

He was detained by the Secret Service yesterday evening directly in front of the White House.

You can see his threatening post below …

Arega didn’t reserve his threats for white police officers, he also posted a threat to President Trump saying “kill him in Jesus name!”

Arega added, “Our world should be free from this guy and we will be free in Jesus name.”

The Secret Service detained him without incident, as Arega was unarmed at the time.

In a statement, they wrote, “Secret Service personnel at the White House immediately increased their posture of readiness and began searching for Arega.”

Arega’s location in Dallas will likely bring back haunting memories of the 2016 shooting in which Micah Xavier Johnson ambushed a group of police officers, killing five and injuring nine others.

In that instance, Johnson echoed Arega’s comments stating that he “wanted to kill white people, especially white police officers.”

After the Dallas shooting, Obama didn’t condemn the racist attacker, rather, he lectured on gun control and then claimed police officers were guilty of bigotry.

“We have all seen this bigotry in our lives at some point,” Obama told the mourners. “None of us is entirely innocent. No institution is entirely immune. And that includes our police departments. We know this.”

Obama quantified the killings at best. At worst, he justified them.

Perhaps had he condemned the killing of white people, specifically officers, in no uncertain terms, Arega wouldn’t be trying to do the same thing over a year later.

Thankfully, the Secret Service has taken this man off the streets.
