According to White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, the immigration reform bill that senators Dick Durbin and Lindsey Graham approached President Trump with wasn’t reviewed by House Republicans nor Senate Republicans like Tom Cotton.

President Trump told both Durbin and Graham “no” on the bill. And guess what we got from that meeting? Dicky Durbin ran to the media afterwards claiming Trump used curse words to describe countries such as Haiti.

Now, Graham is reporting he will not sign a continuing resolution to keep the military paid if there is no DACA deal. Graham is siding with wretched Democrats who have been trying to back Trump into a corner on DACA. Even Sen. Chuck Schumer has been floating the idea that President Trump has to pass DACA to prove he is not racist.

Graham is a snake and he and Sen. John McCain both probably helped worked on this angle. This feels like McCain reaching from his bed once again to put a halt to Trump’s plans, but this time through Graham.

The South Carolina Republican continued to push for the bipartisan proposal that he and five other senators pitched to the President last week — which addresses the expiring Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — though that plan was rejected.

“I’m not going to vote for a CR,” Graham told reporters Wednesday. “I want to be fair to the DACA population. I want to begin to fix a broken immigration system. But above all else I want to rebuild the military that’s in a great decline. … And there is no way in the world to fix this problem without dealing with the DACA issue.”

Graham’s announcement makes it more difficult for Republicans to pass the short-term spending bill in the Senate. With 51 votes in the chamber, the GOP already faced an uphill battle of getting to the magic number of 60 votes to advance the bill, meaning they would need help from Democrats even if all 51 Republicans were to support the bill.

I am praying South Carolina has better than this to represent their state. Graham’s constituents need to kick him out of Congress. I’m pretty sure his spine is hurting from riding fences all these years. All of these states need to elect true conservatives who will help our President make this country great again.

How hard is this? Let’s make it happen. I hope Trump walks away from the negotiation table and leaves Graham and Durbin there to sulk. Let them be held responsible for shutting down the government because that’s where the blame will be.
