Lindsey Graham: Chinese Communist Party’s Deception Is Directly Responsible For Global Pandemic

Yet the American media seem intent on praising or defending China, and blaming President Trump for mishandling the coronavirus.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared on Fox News Monday night with host Laura Ingraham, claiming the Chinese Communist Party’s deception is responsible for the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States. Senator Graham, who has been very vocal in the media on the subject, made the call once again to hold China accountable for the spread of this virus.

“I’m one hundred percent convinced, without Chinese Communist Party deception, the virus wouldn’t be here in the United States,” Graham said.

In April, the South Carolina senator appeared on “Justice with Judge Jeanine” with host Jeanine Pirro and delivered a similar message to the American people regarding the Chinese Communist Party’s negligence and our nation’s duty to hold them accountable.

According to Fox News and host Bret Bair’s reporting on the CCP’s handling of the Coronavirus in early weeks, there are sources who claim that “when efforts of containment failed, journalists and doctors [in China] who spoke out against the threat were disappeared.”

The first case of the coronavirus in Wuhan, China is believed to have been realized on December 6th, when a Wuhan man experienced “pneumonia-like” symptoms and reportedly passed them onto his wife.

One month later, on January 5, the World Health Organization (WHO) released a statement (including what is now known to be false information) that eased the world’s concern by diminishing the fear of human-to-human transmission. The WHO statement regurgitated the CCP’s claim that there was “no evidence of significant human-to-human transmission,” even though by this time the CCP had censored at least eight doctors who tried to warn the rest of the world about the coronavirus.

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report on Monday says that the Chinese Communist Party hid the severity of the coronavirus and hoarded medical supplies while the rest of the globe sat idly by, unaware of the tragedy that was about to strike.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has made it clear that the world needs to hold China accountable for the harmful secrecy and misinformation campaigns.

Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) appeared on BloombergTV and pointed out one of the glaring examples of the Chinese government’s mishandling of the virus, stating that China “prevented domestic travel from Wuhan but allowed international travel,” ultimately infecting the rest of the world when this could have been contained.

Another egregious misstep by the CCP is that it rejected help from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on January 6, a key time when international experts could have worked together to try and stop (or slow) the spread of the virus. In fact, Beijing completely ignored the offer, as well as other offers for help, for over a month.

Fox News reports on February 6, a citizen journalist and former human rights lawyer disappeared in Wuhan after posting cell phone videos of packed hospitals and distraught families.

Yet the American media seem intent on praising or defending China, and blaming President Trump for mishandling the coronavirus. Here’s the president’s reaction, calling out the World Health Organization for acting as China’s PR arm:

President Trump is holding strong against attacks from the liberal media and being the leader he was elected to be in the toughest of times, all while holding China and the WHO accountable as investigations into the outbreak continue.
