Clayton Carter Executes GOP Committeeman G. Brooks Jennings In Front of His Wife

A Pennsylvania man shot his neighbor in the head twice – once while his wife reacted to the scene and witnessed the execution – after a dispute involving lights.

Clayton Carter, whose yard is littered with anti-Trump signs, was arrested for the murder of G. Brooks Jennings.

The two had an ongoing issue which involved police interaction to resolve their differences. Jennings allegedly shined a light into Carter’s eyes however, causing him to apparently snap.

Perhaps their differences ran just a bit deeper. Carter’s lawn spoke volumes about his ideology, with signs that read for example, “Trump for the greedy, death and despair for the needy.”

Jennings meanwhile, was a Chester County Republican committeeman.

A 51-year-old is charged with first degree murder in connection with a shooting in West Goshen Township early Tuesday morning

The Chester County District Attorney’s Office says Clayton Carter, of West Goshen, shot and killed Brooks Jennings around 1 a.m. outside their homes on Box Elder Drive. Carter allegedly shot Jennings twice in the head.

Jennings was a Chester County Republican committeeman.

Details of the shooting are simply horrific.

Officials say Carter shot Jennings once in the head while he was on his own property. Jennings’ wife allegedly heard the first gunshot, then saw Carter stand over her husband as he fired the second shot.

“Unfortunately, the victim’s wife, who heard the first shot, looked out the window, and witnessed the second shot and her husband being killed,” District Attorney Tom Hogan stated.

Neighbors said that Carter was an argumentative type while court records show he had several disputes with people in the neighborhood, including Jennings.

But it was the Republican committeeman who paid the ultimate price for his combative neighbor’s behavior.
