A college men’s lacrosse team decided to buck the PC trend invading America’s college campuses, and they did it in epic fashion.
Adelphi University in Long Island entered the game accompanied by patriotic sound bites from a Trump speech blaring in the background.
The team got fired up as phrases such as “we will make America proud again” and “we will make America great again” rang out across the field.

Which part of this is more surprising – the fact that it was college students – who are typically very liberal – who chose Trump for the intro music, or that this happened in the liberal cesspool known as New York?

A video published by Barstool Sports depicts the Panthers taking the field for a game played at the school’s Garden City campus this season waving an American flag while excerpts of the speech were broadcast over the loudspeakers.

When Adelphi comes out before games, the Trump speech, mixed with music, can be heard over the sound system:
“In all of our cities and in all of our towns, I make this promise: We will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again! God bless you and good night. I love you!”
Of course, because of the fact that Trump was involved, the university felt compelled to apologize before liberal outrage began to foment.
Gordon Purdie, the team’s coach, explained that the team “traditionally has chosen patriotic music” to accompany their entrance to the field.
“It was not intended to provoke or be taken as a political statement,” he continued. “We’re sorry if anyone was offended.”
We won’t be surprised if, at any moment, a massive protest erupts where communists and unemployed kids start dumpsters or cars on fire to prove how wrong it is for athletes to support the President of the United States.
Well done Adelphi men’s lacrosse team. Well done.
