It’s a wonder that David Hogg hasn’t given up pushing his anti-gun agenda yet, but he probably should after his classmate and constant foil, pro-Second Amendment Kyle Kashuv, absolutely destroyed him with a single tweet over the weekend.
Now that he’s not in school, Hogg spends his days launching baseless attacks against anyone who has a pro-gun thought on Twitter – and God forbid you’re affiliated in any way, shape, or form with the NRA. Take, for example, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. After the NRA endorsed Paxton for a second term, Hogg fired off a tweet accusing Paxton of being a felon.

To be clear: Paxton is NOT a felon. He’s been charged – NOT convicted – in a securities case that dates back to 2015 and has been delayed several times. He’s also beaten two similar cases in the past.
In other words, Hogg – like many young liberals – doesn’t seem to understand the concept of due process.

Unsurprisingly, Paxton paid no mind to Hogg’s idiotic tweet. But Kashuv did – and he made Hogg look even more of an absolute dolt.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Vic Mensa – full name Victor Kwesi Mensah – is a rapper who performed at Hogg’s anti-gun “March For Our Lives” event in Washington, D.C. Ironically, in 2017, Mensa was convicted for a firearms offense in California after a routine traffic stop. According to USA Today, “Police found a loaded firearm in the car. Although Mensa had a license to carry in another state, the permit was not valid in California. After his arrest, Mensa was released on $35,000 bail.”
The kicker here is, of course, that Mensa is a lawful gun owner who fell victim to the confusion of differences in carry laws across states. Perhaps he should consider supporting concealed carry reciprocity rather than an anti-gun teenager who has no idea what he’s talking about.
Thank goodness we have Kashuv to fact-check Hogg at every turn.
