Kristi Noem Calls Out Fauci For ‘Hypocrisy’ Over South Dakota Rally – ‘He Has Discredited His Entire Profession’

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) went on “Fox & Friends” on Thursday morning to call out National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s “hypocrisy” for his attack on those in attendance for the annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis.

Noem pointed out that Fauci never called out those who attended Barack Obama’s birthday bash this past weekend, where the former president and his liberal elite friends were caught on camera dancing maskless. She added that Fauci has become “political” and thus “discredited his entire profession” with the positions he’s taken throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic.

Noem Calls Out Fauci

“It’s shocking to me that he continues to pick on Republican governors, people who love their freedoms, and he ignores what’s happening at the border,” Noem said. “I didn’t hear him criticize President Obama for having a party for his birthday.”

“I didn’t hear him go after the other concerts that have been happening in this country or the complete ignoring of our federal laws by this open border policy that President Biden has embraced,” she added.

“Dr. Fauci has become political, and I think it’s unfortunate because there’s going to be a point in time again here where we really need our public health officials and know we can trust them,” she added. “And he has discredited his entire profession by the positions that he’s taken during this pandemic.”

Fauci’s Comments About Rally

Fauci had told “Meet The Press” host Chuck Todd on Sunday that this rally in South Dakota was a “super spreader” event.

“I’m very concerned, Chuck, that we’re going to see another surge related to that rally,” he said, according to Yahoo News.

Though Fauci admitted that it was “understandable” that people “want to do the kind of things they want to do,” he doesn’t think attending this rally is a good idea.

“There comes a time when you’re dealing with a public health crisis, that could involve you, your family, and everyone else that something supersedes that need to do exactly what you want to do,” he added.

Social Media Users Fire Back

Social media users were quick to call out Fauci for attacking this rally while staying silent on Obama’s birthday party, however.

“I have come to loathe Fauci. I cannot believe I fell for this fraud for even a minute,” one user said. “Lollapalooza: Nothing. Obama birthday party: Nothing. Riding a motorcycle in the free air: SATAN’S DEVIL VIRUS WILL GET YA!”

“Love how you can catch covid only at certain events. Did it disappear last weekend at the Lollapalooza in Chicago & yesterday at Obama’s birthday party,” another added. “Why do people still believe anything that comes out of Fauci’s mouth?!”
