Liberals Attack Pro-Immigration Kenneth Cole Shirt for Not Being Inclusive Enough

Fashion company Kenneth Cole is being blasted for selling a pro-immigrant t-shirt, but not by the political right-wing.

Instead, the company is finding itself under fire from leftists after tweeting what’s basically a liberal cliche: “Birthright is a human right. (Aren’t we all immigrants?)”

Kenneth Cole’s immigration gambit

While most on the right probably just rolled their eyes, the message apparently wasn’t liberal enough for some, because, in their perverted view, it isn’t inclusive enough.

While the message is obviously taking a pro-immigration stance when it comes to the migrant caravan approaching the U.S.-Mexico border, many liberals saw it as more worthwhile to blast Kenneth Cole for not doing more in talking about the plight of African-American slaves and Native Americans in their message.

Take a look:

Other users complained that many people were “settlers” not immigrants – because, apparently, colonialism is also something that needs to be addressed by an advertisement encouraging illegal immigration.

Admittedly, it is funny watching the left eat their own.

This just comes as a reminder of how leftism today has become a strange Oppression Olympics. Kenneth Cole champions the plight of the illegal immigrant, and their fellow leftists respond by complaining it isn’t inclusive enough. Indeed, I don’t think it’s possible for any message to be fully inclusive to the left today.

Kenneth Cole goes full liberal

The “We Are All Immigrants” shit is part of a new line called the “Voice Shop,” which raises awareness for social causes. There are 12 products in total, with other messages including “Stand for Something Or Step Aside,”  “Stand Up and Show Up (Or Shut Up),” “Open Minds Let More In,” among others. With the exception of the “We Are All Immigrants” shirt, and one anti-gun shirt, the messages aren’t explicitly political (though the funds all support left-wing initiatives).

Catering to liberals doesn’t pay

Attempting to appease the left is a losing business strategy and, thus, an impossible one. Nothing will ever be good enough for them. And what’s the point? If the experience of companies like Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby is any indication, refusing to cave to hysterical elements of the left has proven to be good for business.
