The Kardashian-Jenner family expressed thanks to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for their role in detaining an illegal immigrant who had been stalking Kendall Jenner, breaking into her home on two occasions.
38-year-old John Ford was arrested for trespassing multiple times after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star secured a restraining order, resulting in a jail sentence of nearly six months.
Ford served only a portion of that time and was released in February. He was released in February, only to be arrested again by ICE last week in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a Canadian visitor whose visa had expired.
“This timely arrest could very well have prevented a violent crime,” a spokesperson for ICE said a statement. “Our special agents acted quickly on this tip to ensure that this obsessive behavior didn’t escalate to become a tragedy.”
Ford is now looking at deportation hearings which will decide if he is sent packing.
The Kardashian-Jenner families couldn’t have been more appreciative of having an illegal immigrant stalker taken off the streets.
“We are extremely appreciative of the hard work by the Los Angeles Police Dept. and ICE, whose swift response and professionalism led to this man’s apprehension,” they said in a statement.
“His actions have not only had a severe impact on Kendall’s life, but the entire family’s sense of security, causing us to fear for Kendall’s safety as well as our own,” it continued. “Knowing this individual is in custody gives us peace of mind.”
Kendall is the daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, the latter of which was former Olympic athlete, Bruce Jenner.
Her father announced that he was transitioning from male to female in 2015, and as a lifelong Republican, maintained support for President Donald Trump early on.
She was spotted wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat in August of 2017, then later verbally attacked by detractors of the President.
Since then, Jenner has expressed disappointment in Trump’s ban on transgender people serving in the military. Now however, we’re sure Jenner is quite appreciative of Trump’s aggressive anti-illegal immigration policies.

This story only stresses the importance of cooperation between local law enforcement and ICE. When an illegal alien is released by law enforcement, ICE should be notified to pick the alien up at the door as he steps out. Why is that so hard for sanctuary cities to understand? They won't learn unless it's one of their own who is in danger.
