Kamala Harris Says Trump ‘Tweeted Out the Ammunition’ in El Paso

In an interview with The Des Moines Register, on Sunday 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris said that while President Donald Trump did not “pull the trigger,” of the mass shooter who fired upon customers at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, he still had been  “tweeting out the ammunition.”

‘Tweeting Out the Ammunition’

“I, as a prosecutor, I prosecuted hate crimes,” Harris said. “As the Attorney General of California, where I ran the second largest Department Justice in the United States, I on an annual basis published the Hate Crime Report.”

“So I will tell you this stuff is not new in our country,” she continued. “It certainly predates the election of Donald Trump, but it has also increased under Donald Trump.”

“He has been fueling the flames of hate,” Harris claimed.

“I said recently on the issue of El Paso, you know, no, when people ask me is he responsible for these killings?” she added. “Well, no he obviously didn’t pull the trigger but he sure been tweeting out the ammunition.”

Nothing New From Kamala

This kind of hyperbole from Harris is not new. On Sunday, the California U.S. Senator also said that the immigration raids being carried out were a “campaign of terror,” pointing her finger at the President.

“This administration has directed DHS to conduct these raids as part of what I believe is this administration’s campaign of terror, which is to make whole populations of people afraid to go to work,” Harris said Sunday to NBC’s Chuck Todd. “Children are afraid to go to school for fear that when they come home, their parents won’t be there.”

“People are afraid in our country,” Harris said earlier in the interview. “[Trump’s] actions have been to divide, to vilify, to do what is contrary to who we are as Americans — which is to say it’s ‘us versus them.’”

It’s Democrats Who Are Doing the Vilifying

Let’s be honest about who is truly being divisive here.

Harris is running in a Democratic presidential primary in a party that is now so far to the left, no amount of venom and hatred for Donald Trump is too extreme. She is vilifying the President because that’s what her party demands of her if she has any hope of becoming the nominee.

So Harris says silly things like Trump tweeted “the ammunition” in a heinous shooting.

Expect Kamala Harris and every other Democrat running for the White House to keep spewing venom at this President. And let’s not forget who is really trying to divide Americans for their own political benefit.
