Kamala Harris Mocked For Pushing ‘LGBTQ+ Equality Act’ Amid Gas Crisis, Inflation, War In Europe

Vice President Kamala Harris was on the receiving end of a fair share of mockery for pushing the Equality Act while Americans suffer from skyrocketing gas prices and inflation, and the world watches in horror as war rages in Eastern Europe.

Harris urged passage of the Equality Act to ‘protect transgender Americans’ in a tweet on Thursday.

“Let’s send the Equality Act to President Biden’s desk,” she demanded.

“We must increase protections for LGBTQ+ Americans across the country,” added Harris. “The onslaught of state bills targeting transgender Americans and their families is wrong.”

Kamala Harris’ Priorities

While multi-tasking is something you like to see out of a public official, the fact that Kamala Harris is unable to organize a party of one means she should probably avoid juggling too many balls.

Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) blasted her push for the Equality Act considering the current state of the world and our nation.

Mad Men actor Derek Ray responded with the hashtag ‘#Priorities.’

“Every leader should be focusing solely on the potential triggering of article 5. There is a nuclear disaster unfolding in Europe,” he tweeted. “Hypersonic missiles do not discriminate.”

Entrepreneur and former Miss Nevada Lisa Song Sutton lamented how carefree Harris’ life must be to shift her focus to the Equality Act.

“What a luxury that we can be focused on pronouns during a time like this,” she replied.

Priorities, Part II

While Kamala Harris is focused on pronouns, discrimination, and the Equality Act in the midst of an ongoing war, her tweet isn’t quite as bad as John Kerry’s recent comments.

Kerry, the White House climate envoy, was incredibly concerned about a war breaking out between Russia and Ukraine because … there would be emissions.

“But massive emissions consequences to the war but equally importantly, you’re going to lose people’s focus, you’re going to lose big country attention because they will be diverted and I think it could have a damaging impact,” he said when asked about his concerns over the invasion.

Aside from the ongoing threat of nuclear war, Americans would probably prefer leaders like Harris try to solve other issues at present. For instance, gas prices rising by 40 cents in 48 hours in some areas seems a bit concerning.

As does inflation and supply chain crises. Oh, and the humanitarian crisis at the border.

FYI – Every letter and symbol in the ‘LGBTQ+’ community is being affected by gas prices and grocery prices at the same rate. We all see the same price tags at the pump and the local convenience store, no matter our pronoun preference.

Now that’s equality. We’re all equally suffering under the current administration.

Harris has been an utter disaster since becoming Vice President, including traveling to the wrong border, making movies with child actors, and temporarily sporting a fake French accent.

A poll just a few months ago saw just 40% of voters express their belief that Harris isn’t qualified to be President.
