Community Joins Together To Buy Justin Korva A Car

This wonderful story of a community coming together, regardless or race, to praise a young man for his efforts will leave you with a warm heart.

Justin Korva walked nearly three miles to work, back and forth, each day as a responsible young man who was trying to make something out of life instead of staying at home, playing video games, and getting into trouble.

Andy Mitchell picked up Justin on his way to work one morning and as they were talking, Mitchell found out that his passenger didn’t have a car. At that point, he developed a strong urge to help Justin by trying to get him a car.

Mitchell talked to Samee Dowlatshahi, the owner of a local pizza joint, and they placed a donation box for Justin. In less than 48 hours, the members of the community donated $5,500 in an effort to get Justin a car. Then Mitchell contacted the local car dealership then worked out a deal for a 2004 Toyota Camry, which was bought with the donation money. Andy presented Justin with not only a Toyota Camry, but also a year’s worth of insurance, and a $500 gas card.

“Instead of you walking to work buddy, you’re driving this car from now on,” Andy told Justin. “It’s paid for in full, all you’ve got to do is drive it.”

Here is the video. Be careful, it’s a tear-jerker!

This story shows just how great America truly is. Justin will remember this and later in life he will perform the same act for someone else in need.. That’s how things usually go in this life.

You don’t have to buy someone a car but if you have gotten help when you needed it, and if you haven’t done the same for someone else, try to do it today!
