Trump Justice Department Will Re-Open Hillary Clinton Email Criminal Case

It’s 2018 and President Donald J. Trump has been in the White House for more than a year. So what has happened to the investigations into Hillary Clinton, which involved the criminal distribution of highly classified materials over a private email server and selling access to the secretary of State to donors of the Clinton Foundation?

Now, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is taking action! A bombshell new report in The Daily Beast notes that Trump Justice Department officials are taking “a fresh look” into Hillary’s illegal home private email server, which was definitely hacked by hostile regimes.

A Justice Department insider who works closely with Sessions described how they are now spending time in the Department’s D.C., headquarters to discover exactly how Clinton and her closest aides mishandled classified material. They are detailing exactly who first put the sensitive information into unclassified environments (including personal Yahoo email addresses!). Sessions is also looking into details of immunity deals granted to Clinton insiders.

The Justice Department is clearly aware of Trump’s demands for a new investigation into Clinton’s criminal behavior while serving as secretary of State. As Trump tweeted this week, “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”

Thanks to a lawsuit filed by conservative investigators at Judicial Watch, the State Department has released emails showing that Huma Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner had classified documents on his computer.

Nick Merrill, Hillary Clinton’s former communications director, issued a very defensive statement: “As Trump begins the new year with Steve Bannon calling his campaign treasonous and indictments and guilty pleas piling up, he resorts to diversion and distraction like clockwork, with the help of his Attorney General. Few matters have been more scrutinized than emails, and it was determined that there was no wrongdoing. Trump’s behavior shows a profound disrespect for the rule of law and an unprecedented abuse of power—with his Attorney General following suit at every turn. It tarnishes our justice system, and should be deeply troubling to all Americans.”

After years of waiting, we may finally see criminal charges filed against Hillary Clinton. Former FBI Director James Comey approached the investigation from a political angle and dismissed the possibility of charges being filed before the investigation even started. Now, with AG Jeff Sessions, there is a new sheriff in town.

Hillary Clinton and her aides should be very nervous today.

This is a breaking news story. We will have more updates as they beome available.
