This was probably the saddest apology the world has ever seen.
If you remember, chief crone on The View, Joy Behar, mocked Vice President Mike Pence for his Christian faith. In response to VP Pence saying that he actively has discussions with his Savior, Jesus Christ, Behar called his behavior indicative of “mental illness.”
“It’s one thing to talk to Jesus,” Behar explained at the time. “It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct, hearing voices.”
You can re-watch the disgusting comments here:
JOY BEHAR: You & your liberal minions MASQUERADE as advocates of PEACE & TOLERANCE when, in reality, you are a BROOD of VIPERS waiting to sink your poisonous fangs into anyone who thinks differently than you.
YOU are PATHETIC.@JoyVBehar: Christianity is a “mental illness.”👇🏻 pic.twitter.com/6A5ebcuRWp

Behar thought she was going to get away with her nasty comments, but many weren’t going to stand for such loathsome Christian bigotry on TV. According to Life Site News, over 25,000 petitions were sent to ABC with the demand that Behar apologize.
It looks like the network listened. Fox News is reporting that Behar apologized for her disrespectful comments. Via the report:
Disney CEO Bob Iger said during a shareholder meeting that Behar apologized “for things she has said about Christians and the Trump administration,” according to Los Angeles Times reporter Daniel Miller.
“Iger agrees that was appropriate,” Miller added.
Well it’s about damn time. Behar’s comments were out of line. Could you imagine if she called pious Muslims or Jewish people mentally ill? The rafters would shake from the indignation.
But Christians are fair game to the harridans of The View, who think anything involving conservatives or faith isn’t worthy of polite company.
However, isn’t it strange how she won’t apologize publicly?
Why didn’t she do so publicly???

Funny how this is the first time this blowhard idiot chose NOT to run her mouth off in a public forum, for all the world to see. Sorry, nobody is buying it.
