Joy Behar and her co-hosts on ABC’s The View attacked President Donald Trump for taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure against the coronavirus.

Behar: “I Think He’s Lying”

President Trump announced on Monday that he was taking hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malarial drug, as a preventative measure against the coronavirus. Mainstream media and Hollywood liberals have gone hysterical over the announcement, repeating the fake news theory that the President profits off the drug, with others claiming that the drug will have no effect.

The ladies at The View were no different. Whoopi Goldberg, first warned of “potentially deadly side effects,” while her co-host Joy Behar said she “couldn’t believe” the announcement.

“I just stocked up on Clorox and now he comes out with this,” Behar said, referring to the fake story that the President suggested people should drink bleach.

“Here’s the thing, he says he’s been on this thing for two and a half weeks or something, but when you read the side effects – psychosis, paranoia, hair loss – I think he’s been on it for three and a half years,” Behar continued, before going on to claim that the President wasn’t even prescribed the drug, and was lying about all of this as a “distraction” from more serious issues.

“He’s distracting from Pompeo and the IG scandal. Joe Biden is kicking his butt in the polls. He’s losing senior citizen votes all over the place. Swing states like Arizona might be turning blue. His attacks on Obama are going nowhere. He will distract [from] anything that makes him look bad,” Behar argued.

Hysteria From The Media!

Later , Behar even slammed Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) for taking hydroxychloroquine.

“I can’t believe anybody with a brain would take that stuff, but you seem like an intelligent guy,” Behar told the congressman.

“You’re a representative in Congress. Why would you take that drug? There are terrible consequences,” she said, seemingly ignorant of the fact that it’s a normal anti-malarial drug.

The ladies on The View and the rest of the media honestly seem completely insane. This isn’t some new drug, but one that’s been around for years, and also seems to help in tackling the coronavirus! Hysteria has engulfed the globe with this pandemic, and it clearly extends to the media.
