Josh Hawley Slams ‘Antifa Scumbags’ Who Targeted His Home With Wife And Newborn Inside

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said his family was targeted by Antifa vandals and protesters late Monday evening.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said his family was targeted by Antifa vandals and protesters late Monday evening.

Video shows protesters approaching the family’s front door as Hawley’s wife and newborn baby were reportedly inside.

“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Hawley tweeted.

“They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door,” he continued. “Let me be clear: My family [and] I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.”

Josh Hawley’s Home Targeted By Antifa

The media ran cover for Antifa by printing the group’s claims that they were simply holding a peaceful candlelight vigil outside Hawley’s home.

Video shows that a group lead by a man approached his front door and spends over a minute directly outside the door.

The Washington Post ran the protesters’ claims right in the headline as a means to suggest Hawley was lying about the attack.

“Demonstrators with ShutDownDC, which organized the protest, told The Washington Post that they did not engage in vandalism or even knock on Hawley’s door,” they reported.

“A 50-minute video shared by the group shows protesters writing in chalk on the sidewalk, chanting through a megaphone and at one point leaving a copy of the Constitution on Hawley’s doorstep.”

Of course, when protesters are shouting about how they plan to “fight back” and then walk up the sidewalk and knock on the front door, they’ve ceased holding a “vigil” and have now become a threat.

Hawley blasted the Post for printing what he called “outright lies” from the Antifa group.

“[The Washington Post] this morning printing outright lies from the Antifa group who now describe themselves as sweet angels. BS,” he tweeted.

“You screamed through bullhorns, shouted down my wife when she asked you to leave, vandalized property, pounded on our door, and terrorized neighbors.”

What Was Antifa Protesting?

Antifa is clearly upset with Josh Hawley for becoming the first senator last week to announce he would back a plan by House GOP members to object to the electoral vote counts on January 6th.

Wednesday will be the day that a joint session of Congress will be called and lawmakers officially certify the Electoral College votes.

“At the very least, Congress should investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt measures to secure the integrity of our elections,” Hawley said in a statement.

Left-wing Antifa protesters certainly don’t want investigations into election integrity.

“We will hold people accountable and hold political officials accountable who are trying to swindle the election, swindle democracy, and don’t give a rat’s ass about the American people,” one ignorant protester yelled into his little bullhorn.

Interestingly, the protesters also seem concerned about the pro-Trump protests that are scheduled to take place on that January 6th date. In particular, they’re concerned about the spread of coronavirus.

Yes, seriously.

“We’re not going to let these fascist, racist and ignorant people come into our town and come into our community. D.C. has a mask mandate, our Coronavirus cases are twice as high as they were in March when the pandemic first came out,” the man yells as his mask rests below his chin.

“Nine months later, six months later, our government is allowing fascist individuals to come into our city with no mask on, knowing that Coronavirus cases are big as hell!”

Do you know what’s not “big as hell”? This group’s combined brain cell count.

And to further demonstrate these clowns are not ‘peaceful protesters holding candlelight vigils,’ Newsweek reports that Twitter had to remove a tweet after ShutdownDC “post(ed) the addresses of several Republican politicians while urging the far-right Proud Boys group to fight them there.”

Peaceful protest. Right.
