THIS GOP Candidate Called His Opponents ‘Devils’ And Himself ‘Prince of Light and Hope’ – EPIC!

John Kasich

Uhhh……I can’t, I just can’t. Or maybe I’ll have what he’s having, double the ice.

GOP presidential candidate and Ohio Governor John Kasich took this religion thing to a new level when he joined the Hugh Hewitt show. Kasich is now #2 in New Hampshire, and he’s very proud of it, but this exchange was just plain weird.

“I have the experience and I’ve had success and I’ve been a reformer all of my life,” Kasich told host Hugh Hewitt when asked why he should win New Hampshire.

“And I have a message, you know– look, we have a lot of candidates who are like the Prince of Darkness,” Kasich said. “I consider myself the Prince of Light and Hope.”

I am sure Kasich rocked Hewitt off his seat with that statement. What would possess (*pun) Kasich to say such a thing? I understand religion is needed in America, but now it’s gotten to a point where every other sentence is about faith or preaching some scripture.

I am a pastor’s son, and I am saying enough. You don’t wear your Christianity in your mouth; you wear it by your actions.

Check out this clip where Kasich also talks about the Sarah Palin endorsement.

What do you make of the “prince of darkness” reference and was he calling out his competition as devils? Share your opinion below and let me know what you are thinking.
