Joe Biden Claims COVID-19 Military Deaths Over 6000–Actual Number Is 7

Joe Biden

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has been consistently going after Donald Trump for the negative comments the The Atlantic claims the President made about U.S. World War I soldiers buried in France. To date, 21 witnesses have refuted the story.

On Wednesday, Biden sank to a new low when he claimed that military deaths due to COVID-19 added up to 6,114.

The real number? Seven.

Biden’s wild math

Biden said during a campaign stop to United Auto Workers in Michigan, “U.S. COVID-infected military — excuse me, U.S. COVID-infected in America: six thousand, three hundred forty-four thousand, seven hundred [sic]. U.S. COVID deaths: one thousand, one hundred eighty-nine thousand, five hundred six [sic].”

“Military COVID-infected,” Biden continued. “One hundred and eighteen thousand, nine hundred and eighty-four. Military COVID deaths: six thousand, one hundred and fourteen. Folks: every one of these lives matter.”

“Every one of these lives left somebody behind, grieving,” he added.

According to the Pentagon, the actual number of coronavirus deaths in the military is seven.

So in addition to repeating the claims of The Atlantic story, which has been refuted by 21 officials, Biden grossly overstated the number of coronavirus military deaths in his anti-Trump tirade. How he came up with 6,114 is anyone’s guess.

What else is Biden lying about?

This week, Biden also went after President Trump for supposedly downplaying the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic early on. Veteran journalist Bob Woodward charged in his new book on the Trump administration that the President knew how bad the virus was but didn’t want to cause the public to panic.

Which is exactly what Trump did. He admits it, as he thought it was the responsible thing to do.

Guess who else urged Americans not to panic at the beginning of the pandemic? Joe Biden.

“Barack [Obama] and I, when we were — as president and vice president – we took on the virus that was threatening all of Africa and, uh, the rest of the world,” Biden said during a speech on February 28, forgetting the name of the Ebola virus. “And we set up a mechanism that worked.”

Then Biden said, “But I want to take a moment to say it’s not a time to panic about coronavirus, but coronavirus is a serious public health challenge.”

Biden also said not to “panic” about COVID-19 during a March 12 speech, just one day after the World Health Organization categorized the coronavirus outbreak as a “pandemic.”

Does Biden not remember urging Americans not to panic early on in the coronavirus crisis, similar to President Trump? Why were his COVID-19 military deaths numbers so wildly off?

Is Biden all there?

What does this even mean from a speech he gave on Wednesday?

“What makes his wild claims and hopes…” Biden rambled. “He now hopes we don’t notice what he said.–or won’t remember. And when he does follow through…or doesn’t do…when follow through, the exact opposite.”

Huh?

Many have speculated that Joe Biden’s mental faculties are not all there and the evidence for this being true continues to pile up.

If it is true, this man has no business being the next president of the United States.
