Imagine, just for a moment, that a former Republican vice president said this about a sitting Democrat president.
Any and all insinuations of violence made by Republicans against Democrats are regarded as fully beyond the pale, barbaric discourse that incenses the emotions, and pushes unstable individuals toward physical violence (you know, kind of like a Bernie Sanders fan shooting up a baseball field of elected lawmakers).
But when Democrats do it, it’s just tough-talking, back-slapping humor, complete with a working-class attitude that nobody sane actually thinks liberals still embody.
Joe Biden, more than any other Democrat, is given a pass for his verbal transgressions. Remember when he told voters that Romney was going to put African-Americans back in chains?
Well, Crazy Uncle Joe is back, this time saying that if he and Trump attended the same high school, he would have “beat the hell out of him.” Take a look at all of Biden’s vitriolic comments, via the Daily Mail:
‘A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, “I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it”,’ Biden marveled during an anti-sexual-assault rally at the University of Miami.
‘They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said, “No.” I said, “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him”,’
‘I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life,’ Biden added. ‘I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.’

Yikes. Can you count the number of violations of liberal orthodoxy Biden just made? Not only did he threaten someone with physical violence, he fat-shamed, mocked someone’s ugly appearance, and suggested that only able-bodied people like himself are capable of exerting painful force. I believe that’s called “ableism.”
Biden will get a pass, of course. This isn’t the first time Biden has expressed a desire to assault Trump. During the presidential campaign, he openly wished he could take Trump behind the gym, presumably to wallop him.
Then there’s the sticky matter of Biden’s own treatment of women, a topic of curiosity given his penchant for touching women and girls inappropriately. Is it really the place of a man to criticize another for being a misogynist when he does the following to women?
Looks to me like someone might want to take Biden behind the gym bleachers and straighten him out over his behavior towards women. Wouldn’t you agree?
