Last week, Fox News host Sean Hannity and Jimmy Kimmel got into a spat over Twitter, which devolved from innocent jabbing to nasty accusations. The main point of contention was Kimmel’s mocking of First Lady Melania Trump’s accent.
Hannity wasted no time in pulling out the sledgehammer and crushing Kimmel’s petty remarks:
Today’s poll. So tonight will @jimmykimmel be 1- Asking 18 year old girls to touch his crotch. 2- Make fun of the First Lady reading books to children. 3- Be a racist asshole. 4- all of the above? @Disney #pervertkimmel https://t.co/bq5WE4eyOP

Kimmel shot back in equal fashion:
Dear @SeanHannity thx for the trip down Man Show memory lane. The idea that YOU’d call ANYONE a “pervert” while slobbering over Trump, Ailes, O’Reilly and, YES, Roy Moore – who you DID SUPPORT is, to quote a fella you love very much, “Sad!” #nobodyissafefromKimmelspervertedwrath

The argument continued, with both launching invectives at the other. The exchange got most heated when Kimmel made a crude gay joke:
Don’t worry – just keep tweeting – you’ll get back on top! (or does Trump prefer you on bottom?) Either way, keep your chin up big fella..XO https://t.co/R4QJCoGYCL

That’s when Hannity unloaded a MOAB of damning proportions:
And @jimmykimmel you are also a racist bigot. #pervertkimmel @Disney pic.twitter.com/to6T9xzIFF

Kimmel in blackface? Had any conservative late-night talk show host be caught with that racist getup, they’d be fired faster than a lightspeed jet.
Kimmel soon saw the error of his ways, and posted an apology to Hannity on Twitter, with, as any honest reading shows, was half-hearted at best.

Just yesterday, Hannity received Kimmel’s apology and has promised to address it on tonight’s show:
Just had this pop up. I am at a tournament with my daughter. I’ll have a full and comprehensive response tomorrow on Hannity. 9 EST FOX. pic.twitter.com/JLdZDa07BI
