Ivanka Trump Just Wanted to Buy Earrings, but This FAR-LEFT Store Had Other Plans (Awful!)

Ivanka Trump
Donald Trump is an extremely polarizing figure, but his daughter Ivanka Trump is widely respected. That’s why it’s so puzzling that a jewelry store would troll her for buying one of their products.

When Ivanka bought an earring from Lady Grey Jewelry, they responded by giving her a very public slap in the face by posting a photo of their “thank you” card to her on social media. The backhanded thank you note said:

Dear Ivanka

Thank you so much for your web order! We’re happy to let you know that the proceeds of your order have been generously donated to the American Immigration Council, the Everytown for Gun Safety organization, and the Hillary Clinton Campaign. We hope you enjoy your Lady Grey #helixearcuff

Best, Jill + Sabine Lady Grey

Dear @ivankatrump, #thanksbutnothanks #payitFORWARD ➡️

How utterly classless!

It’s clear this was a crass play for publicity – note the use of a hashtag in their handwritten letter – and accolades from the left – they’re already being praised by all the usual suspects. By the way, the ear cuff was a modest (for a millionairess) $84, so those 3 leftist groups aren’t getting all that much, fortunately.

The irony is that Ivanka Trump leans a bit to the left herself, but because her own father is running for president she gets publicly shamed for doing a little personal shopping. You can bet she will NEVER buy from this company again, and will probably not use a personal credit card for future online purchases.

This should serve as a reminder to us all to pay more attention to the politics of the businesses we support and to choose where we spend our money wisely.

H/T: Red Alert Politics

Do you think the jewelry store was justified in refusing Ivanka’s money and donating to liberal causes? Or was this a tasteless display of leftist intolerance? Sound off in the comments below!
