What a difference a year makes.

Around this time last year, the media was busying itself spreading the fabricated story that the Russian government coordinated with the Trump campaign in order to beat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Then-FBI Director James Comey was convinced of the theory, and deliberately set up a chain of events in order to facilitate the creation of a special counsel-led investigation into possible Trump-Russia collusion.

When President Trump unceremoniously fired Comey last spring, the Deep State struck back, as the media and Democrats kicked and screamed until former FBI Director Robert Mueller was made a special counsel for an investigation.

Fast forward until now, and what do we see? It turns out the FBI was rotten to the core, and was actively working to derail the Trump campaign back in the heated days of the campaign. In fact, an FBI agent assigned to Mueller’s investigative team has been found to have an extreme anti-Trump bias. His text messages from around the time of the campaign hint at a secret cabal within the FBI working to kick Trump out of office.

Representative Trey Gowdy, a tough-talking former prosecutor and member of the House Intelligence Committee, has discovered “unprecedented” bias within the FBI against Trump.

And on the very same day we learn that the former FBI agent on Robert Mueller’s team never suspected any Trump-Russia collusion to begin with, we also learn that James Rybicki, current chief of staff to FBI Director Christopher Wray, has quit the agency. Via Fox News:

FBI Director Chris Wray announced Tuesday that his chief of staff, James Rybicki, is leaving the bureau.

Rybicki, who served in the same position under former FBI Director James Comey, had come under scrutiny from Republicans in recent months about his role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Why is this significant? Rybicki was under heavy scrutiny by House Republicans trying to find out just how deep anti-Trump bias spread within the FBI. According to The Washington Post, Senator Chuck Grassley “named Rybicki as one of two FBI officials who, according to transcripts from an internal FBI inquiry, recalled former FBI director James B. Comey circulating drafts of the statement he would make exonerating Clinton months ahead of time.”

Is Rybicki’s sudden departure being done to keep him away from Republican investigators?
