Former FBI Assistant Director Blasts James Comey And FBI

James Kallstrom

Former assistant FBI director James Kallstrom is coming out swinging against the FBI’s leadership during the 2016 election. Appearing on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo,” Kallstrom told the host, “I think we have ample facts revealed to us during this last year and a half that high-ranking people throughout government, not just the FBI, high-ranking people had a plot to not have Hillary Clinton, you know, indicted.”

In addition to accusing the FBI of having rigged their investigation into Hillary’s private email server, Kallstrom, who had been with the FBI for 27 years, also claimed that numerous officials had a “scheme” to pin the blame on Trump for any alleged interference from Russia during the election.

According to the Western Journal, Kallstrom continued by telling Maria, “They had a backup plan to basically frame Donald Trump and that’s what’s been going.”

The former FBI official added that this so-called “plot” to rig the 2016 campaign goes “right to the top,” insinuating that both former president Barack Obama and former CIA director John Brennan had been conspirators in it.

“It goes right to the top, and it involves that whole strategy. They were going to win (the 2016 election), nobody would ever know this stuff, and they just unleashed the intelligence community,” Kallstrom said.

“Look at the unmaskings? We haven’t even heard about that yet,” he added. “Look at the way they violated the rights of these American citizens?”

Kallstrom further went on to cite text messages from Peter Stzrok, who had been the FBI counterintelligence chief before being dismissed himself, that allegedly prove there had been a “backup plan to frame Donald Trump” as a Russian agent.

“This whole thing is a total phony,” Kallstrom said about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump-Russia collusion.

Bartiromo noted that ten people “at the top of the FBI and the Department of Justice” have been “either fired or reassigned” over the past several months, right as more details about the Bureau’s handling of their investigation of Hillary’s email server have come to light.

Former FBI Deputy Director Andy McCabe is the most notable departure of the bunch. While he had initially planned on retiring in March, just days before the Nunes Memo was set to be released, he stepped down early (but was still set to officially retire in March to receive a full pension, a move which AGE Jeff Sessions blocked).

There was plenty of meddling in the 2016 election – it just wasn’t from the Russians.
