On Thursday, veteran Democratic strategist and friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton, James Carville, said that something was “really wrong” with President Donald Trump.
The “ragin’ Cajun” made his comments after agreeing with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent announcement that she was going to explore the 25th Amendment.
The 25th Amendment, ratified in 1967, allows for the removal of the President from power.
To Democrats, or anyone terrified of Trump’s re-election: We are on the precipice of winning by margins so big that progress will happen in the next 4 years.
Let that hope, not fear of Trump’s re-election, be your inspiration as we head into final weeks https://t.co/gAsrENCYfo

Carville: ‘Donald Trump Is Not Trying To Win This Race’
Carville made his comments on MSNBC’s “All In,” with Chris Hayes.
“You’re really starting to see separation with these Republican candidates from Trump. All along, people say when are they going to say something?”
“Look, he wants to arrest Barack Obama,” Carville said.
“You know what that’s going to do to Lindsey Graham? Do you know what that will mean, African-American turnout and South Carolina? You know what that’s going to do for African-American turnout in Georgia or North Carolina?”
“Donald Trump is not trying to win this race,” Carville insisted.
“He really isn’t. I have no idea who would give him money because the guy is just going all over the place on the debate, all over the place on the stimulus.”

Carville Backs Pelosi Exploring 25th Amendment
Then Carville said Pelosi “has a point” regarding the recently announced 25th Amendment push, which could feasibly remove the President from office if it is determined that he is unable to carry out his constitutional duties.
Pelosi said Thursday to reporters, “Tomorrow, by the way, tomorrow — come here tomorrow. We’re going to be talking about the 25th Amendment.”
Again, the 25th Amendment specifically focuses on installing an Acting President should the current president no longer be able to perform his or her duties.
Pelosi says at her weekly press conference: "By the way, tomorrow — come here tomorrow. We're going to be talking about the 25th Amendment."

Carville said, apparently of Pelosi’s announcement, “I think Speaker Pelosi has a point, that’s something really, really wrong with a politician who’s running for an election who’s not trying to win.”
This move by Pelosi comes after four years of Democrats doing everything they can to overturn the results of the 2016 presidential election.
Between three years of trying to impeach President Trump on a bogus “Russian collusion” charge, and now exploring if he can be removed via the 25th Amendment–shouldn’t the Democrats now remove “democrat” from their party’s name?
Democratic strategist James Carville on Pres. Trump's electoral strength: "He got 44.8% in 2018. He suffered the worst electoral defeat in the House ever … but yet, the media is going, 'Oh, he's so strong, he's so powerful, he's so this.' No he's not!" pic.twitter.com/YbTcNPXgjg

Carville To Democrats Taking On Republicans In 2020: ‘Get Rid Of All Of Them’
Regardless, Carville encouraged Democrats to keep driving hard until November.
“The Democrats are going to drive this home so hard, and they better not take their foot off the gas,” Carville advised.
“Just drive it home and get rid of all of them,” he finished.
