In an interview with ABC News’ Deborah Roberts, Ivanka Trump explained why her use of a personal email account to conduct government business differs from Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server to transmit classified information.
“There’s no connection” between her situation and that of the former Secretary of State, Trump claimed.
She then pointed out one of the more glaring differences between her handling of the private emails and that of Hillary’s.
“All of my emails are stored and preserved. There were no deletions. There is no attempt to hide,” she said, before adding, “There’s no equivalency to what my father’s spoken about.”
There was no Bleach Bit. Tens of thousands of emails didn’t go missing. And nobody took a hammer to her devices.

Ivanka slams Hillary
Roberts didn’t necessarily buy into Ivanka’s comments dismissing an equivalency between her actions and those of her father’s former opponent.
“Your father hammered Hillary Clinton on this, said that it was criminal, she should be locked up,” Roberts reminded. “How is it wrong for her and not for you?”
That’s when the First Daughter unleashed, explaining what the media can’t seem to grasp in no uncertain terms.
“In my case, all of my emails are on the White House server. There’s no intent to circumvent. And there were mass deletions after a subpoena was issued. My emails have not been deleted. Nor was there anything of substance, nothing confidential that was within them. So, there’s no connection between the two things.”
Clinton sent classified material over her private server, placing sensitive, classified information in the wrong hands and even putting sources at risk. She then did her best to hide those emails. It’s a distinction that could only be conflated by hardened Hillary partisans.

Democrats try to politicize Ivanka’s email
Lemmings in the Democrat Party, sensing any narrative they can use to try and take down somebody with the last name Trump, have also seized on the feigned ignorance.
House Democrats are calling for an investigation into Trump’s use of her personal email. It’s a desperate attempt for a party that has been embarrassed for two years at their inability to draw a line of collusion between the President and Russia. They will do anything, no matter how flimsy the evidence, to take down the President and his family.
The Ivanka Trump email story pops up shortly after a federal court orders Hillary Clinton to answer key questions on her email scheme. I’m sure it is just a coincidence. https://t.co/vpoPn4Skui pic.twitter.com/ESnVRoLHIr

“Democrats know this doesn’t come anywhere close to Hillary Clinton’s lawbreaking, but that won’t stop them from using their new investigative powers to conflate the issues and score revenge points against the president’s family,” a senior Republican Senate aide recently told the Daily Caller.
“With the Russia probe going nowhere, Democrats know they need a new fake scandal to seize on,” the source added.
The beauty of this lies in the unstated assumption – If Democrats make a federal case out of Ivanka’s actions, they’ll essentially be admitting – finally – that what Hillary did as Secretary of State was wrong at least, illegal at worst.
If, however, they continue to deny that fact, Ivanka will have a built-in defense for her private emails. She could almost certainly use the Hillary defense to make a case against any scrutiny of her actions.
