Ilhan Omar Blames America For Flooding, Lives Lost In Foreign Countries

Rep. Ilhan Omar, speaking at an event in Washington D.C. last week, said America is responsible for problems around the world, including flooding and the fleeing of climate refugees in other nations.

“When you see a Somali refugee or an Iraqi refugee or a Libyan refugee, we often are like, ‘Oh, this is my neighbor, they must have survived some struggle,'” she said.

“We don’t ever pause to think, what American policy made them come over here, right?”

Well no, because ‘American policy’ isn’t responsible for a country’s response to rain halfway across the world. So, there’s that.

Omar went a step further, chastising Americans themselves for raising money to help those in need rather than taking inventory of their global warming ways.

“When you see a flooding happening, um, in a country abroad and you are, um, urgently raising money for these lives to be saved, you don’t think about how have I contributed to the climate warming that has led to these [flash] floodings and these catastrophes that are taking place abroad,” she explained.

Always Blames America First

In a sickening rant, Omar went on to blame America for allowing those in other countries to take the lives of innocent people.

The military should lead this country in “reimagining a vision of what our foreign policy should be,” Omar suggested.

She would add that it is important “what human rights … could mean as we think about people who are using the weapons that are created in this country to take the lives of innocent children and women and men abroad.”

Perhaps she could talk to Barack Obama about that since his administration was heavily involved in running guns to other countries.

At the same event, Omar suggested Americans need to be fearful of jobs being shipped overseas. Not because she’s concerned about American jobs being outsourced, but because she doesn’t want to see people in foreign countries subjected to American corporate greed.

Negative View of America From Day One

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Omar has spent most of her adult life blaming America for everything that is wrong in the world.

After all, she recently explained that she was disappointed with what she saw in this country from the day she set foot on its soil.

“When I first came to the United States, I remember one of the first things that I saw was homeless people sleeping on the sides of Manhattan when we arrived in New York,” the extremist Democrat recalled.

“And I remember turning to my father and saying, ‘This doesn’t look like the America you promised.'”

Imagine escaping a war-torn country like Somalia and arriving in America only to be disappointed because it didn’t live up to your pre-conceived ideal.
