Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Thomas Homan responded to California’s recent ‘sanctuary state’ status by vowing to send more deportation officers to the Golden State.
“California better hold on tight – they’re about to see a lot more deportation officers,” Homan told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto.
And to those illegal immigrants thinking they’re safe in California, he warned: “There’s no sanctuary from law enforcement.”

Homan was responding to Governor Jerry Brown and fellow Democrats efforts to aid and abet illegals in their state.
California officially became a ‘sanctuary state’ on January 1st, when a bill signed into law by Governor Brown took effect.
Homan believes law enforcement overwhelmingly opposes the measure.
“If he (Brown) thinks he is protecting the community, he’s doing quite the opposite,” Homan said. “He is knowingly putting law enforcement at risk.”
ICE Director Thomas Homan Says Arrests Will Continue in California Despite Sanctuary State Law.
Very happy to know they want to protect us despite our screwed up Dem politicians who couldn’t care less for California citizens.

The National Sheriffs’ Association urged the Administration in October to do something about the lawlessness Democrats are implementing in California.
An open letter implored “leaders in Washington to take action and pass sensible legislation that would prevent careless legislation from hamstringing law enforcement and would give them the tools to combat dangerous policies like this.”
Homan, representing the Administration’s authority on the topic, responded: “If politicians don’t protect their communities then ICE will.”
Dir. Thomas Homan:
“If politicians in CA don’t want to protect their communities, then ICE will!”
Mr. President, Stop 🛑 Gov. Jerry Brown! These are political decisions CA’s governor is making. Law enforcement is against this legislation. CA continues to need your help! @POTUS pic.twitter.com/hJsGUnJKVG— Preshusgirl (@Preshusgirl) January 2, 2018
As for those politicians, Homan wants to see them charged with violating federal laws.
“We’ve got to start charging some of these politicians with crimes,” he said.
Amen.
