ICE: California Refusing to Disclose Details on Illegal Alien Criminals

ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, has attacked California for not disclosing what they plan to do with multiple illegal alien prisoners.

Forced to Comply with Sanctuary Laws

Subpoenas were sent this week to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office (SDSCO) asking for the location information of a number of criminal illegal aliens locked up in California, a sanctuary state, and whether they were to be released any time soon. ICE officials said in a statement that the “issuance of these immigration subpoenas is necessary because the SDCSO is forced to comply with California’s sanctuary state laws, and therefore cannot cooperate in honoring immigration detainers or requests for non-public information to assist in locating criminal aliens that have been or will be released from custody.”

Some of the criminals include: “a 40-year-old illegally present Mexican national who was arrested… for continuing sexual abuse of a child;” “a 42-year-old illegally present in Mexican national who was arrested for first degree robbery;” “a 31-year-old illegally present Mexican national who was arrested… for battery of spouse and false imprisonment;” “a 28-year-old illegally present Mexican national who was arrested for assault with force, great bodily injury, child cruelty, and battery of spouse.” Many of them had also been arrested for DUIs and other minor offences.

California’s Sanctuary Policy Does “Not Protect Public Safety”

“The public needs to be aware and concerned that California sanctuary state laws do not protect public safety and is bad public policy,” said Gregory Archambeault, San Diego Field Office Director for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in San Diego.

“Criminal aliens are being released back into the community daily and most will re-offend resulting in more victims,” he continued. “For ICE, the most concerning part about dealing with uncooperative jurisdictions, or places that are not allowed to work with us, is that we don’t always know who is being arrested, when they’ll be released, or if they are at-large in the community again.”

Archambeault is right. The sanctuary state policy is one that only serves to continue the misery of innocent Americans by protecting those who have entered illegally and then committed horrific crimes. Why is California protecting literal child molesters? Where are the feminists who claim to want to protect women and girls from sexual violence when cases like this occur? They are silent, because they are hypocrites.
