And now comes exclusive news from Fox News that House Republicans plan to call Hunter Biden (shown above) — the son of former Vice President Joe Biden — plus the Ukraine whistleblower and a range of other witnesses — to testify in those public hearings, according to a witness list obtained exclusively by Fox News.

There are potential roadblocks, however.

“It is unclear, at this point, how many of the Republicans’ proposed witnesses will be approved by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and the Democrats, because the newly-approved resolution governing the impeachment inquiry gives the approval power to the chairman and the members of the majority,” said the outlet.

“Americans see through this sham impeachment process, despite the Democrats’ efforts to retroactively legitimize it last week,” House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) wrote in a letter to Rep. Schiff (D-Calif.) on Saturday, referencing the impeachment rules, as Fox News reported.

“To provide transparency to your otherwise opaque and unfair process, and after consultation with [House Oversight Committee] Ranking Member Jim Jordan and [House Foreign Affairs Committee] Ranking Member Michael McCaul, the American people deserve to hear from the following witnesses in an open setting,” he continued.

Speaking recently about his role on the board of Burisma Holdings and other related issues, Hunter Biden told ABC News, “In retrospect, look, I think that it was poor judgment on my part,” he told ABC News interviewer Amy Robach, as Breitbart News noted in its piece about it.

“I think that it was poor judgment because I don’t believe now when I look back on it — I know that there was — did nothing wrong at all. However, was it poor judgment to be in the middle of something that is a swamp in — in — in many ways? Yeah,” he said.

“So I take full responsibility for that,” the younger Biden continued.

Hunter Biden has emerged as a key figure because of his Ukraine business dealings.
