This is called muddying the waters.
The Democrats are in a mode of tearing down anyone they can around Donald Trump and after they have done that, they slap the guilty tag on the president by association. This time it’s Trump aide Kellyanne Conway. The reason? Repeated violations of federal ethics laws.
Rep. Elijah Cummings, House Oversight Chairman, said his committee will push a vote on Wednesday to authorize a subpoena “for testimony in connection with Ms. Conway’s failure to comply with the Hatch Act and ethics laws.”
This month, the Office of Special Counsel recommended the firing of Conway over repeated violations of the Hatch Act, a law that prohibits partisan political activity by federal employees.
“Like with other presidential appointees, the President has the authority to discipline Ms. Conway for violating the Hatch Act. Given that Ms. Conway is a repeat offender and has shown disregard for the law, OSC recommends that she be removed from federal service,” the OSC report read.
Trump has said he doesn’t intend to fire Conway or discipline her in any way.
“I think she’s a tremendous person, she’s loyal, she’s a great person. Based on what I saw yesterday, how could you do that? They have tried to take away her speech and I think you’re entitled to free speech in this country,” Trump told Fox & Friendsin an interview after the report was released. [Mediaite]

The REAL Hatch Act violator is John Kerry. He is the point man for the shadow Obama government that goes on to this day. The deceitful Democrats would instigate war with Iran to get Trump out of office.

The strategy is to wear all of Trump’s soldiers down so that they quit, including the president. I think they succeeded in wearing out Sarah Sanders. We need to go on the attack. Trump can ask friendly lawmakers to introduce bills that would criminalize some of their tactics. Or, we need to know the financial sources who fund these people. If they don’t have to work for a living because they are being subsidized, we need to cut it off.
