Hollywood Elites Post Ridiculously Tone-Deaf Responses To Coronavirus

And they wonder why so many of us don't take anything they say seriously.

Hollywood Elites

With the entertainment industry shut down over the coronavirus, Hollywood stars have had no way to get the attention that they crave. As a result, they’ve been taking to social media to post videos in which they desperately try to use the coronavirus to make themselves relevant again, and their posts are even more cringeworthy than you would think.

Hollywood elites like Jessica Chastain, Minnie Driver, Eva Longoria, and Mark Duplass have been showing just how out of touch with reality they really are with their bizarrely tone-deaf responses to coronavirus. While millions of working Americans faced the prospect of losing their jobs, Chastain gleefully celebrated her birthday with a bottle of Dom Pérignon rosé champagne that typically costs over $200, according to Breitbart News.

In what seems to have been an attempt to be funny, Driver posted a video to Twitter in which she called herself a “virgin housekeeper” and discussed how being stuck at home caused her to fall in love with the Swiffer.

Longoria shamelessly used the coronavirus pandemic that has killed thousands to promote the sitcom “One Day At a Time,” which is now airing on Pop TV after Netflix cancelled it.

Duplass filmed himself performing songs from the 1980s, including “The Finer Things” by Steve Winwood.

Other stars got in on the action as well. Amanda Seyfried posted a bizarrely crude video to Instagram telling her fans to “stay the f***” home.

Finally, singer Jason Mraz posted a video of himself urinating outdoors for some inexplicable reason.

This serves as a reminder of how out of touch with reality the elites of Hollywood really are. They have no idea what life is like for the average working class American, yet these oftentimes-radically liberal stars think they have the right to lecture the rest of us on how to vote politically and how to live our lives. And they wonder why so many of us don’t take anything they say seriously.
