To be fair, you don’t have to travel anywhere to come to the conclusion that AOC is misinformed. That’s proven every time she opens her mouth.
At a press briefing on Monday, Hispanic pastors who had toured the same facility in which Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her contingent did this week came to a vastly different conclusion about the conditions.
The New York Democrat emerged from her visit making numerous dubious claims, among them that she had to “force” her way into a “cell” to speak with those detained at the facility, that she witnessed women being forced to drink water out of toilets, and that she feared for her personal safety amongst the brutish border patrol officers.
Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, who toured the same exact facility, said that what he and a fellow group of pastors saw was “drastically different.”
Ocasio-Cortez Lied
The group traveled to a Texas Border Protection facility following reports that conditions there were deplorable, causing nationwide outrage and leading to the congressional delegation’s visit.
“To my surprise, I saw something drastically different from the stories I’ve been hearing in our national discourse,” Rodriguez reported.
“We found no soiled diapers, no deplorable conditions and no lack of basic necessities,” Rodriguez said. “We toured the entire facility.”

You mean to tell me AOC … lied?! Say it ain’t so!
Rodriguez was slightly more diplomatic, claiming the politicians and agenda-driven doctors who visited the facility were simply misinformed.

“Even as a veteran of immigration advocacy in the U.S., I was shocked at the misinformation of the crisis at the border,” a beleaguered Rodriguez stated.
The Democrats’ fabricated claims about these facilities are sickening. Does anyone actually believe border patrol officials threatened a congresswoman and forced women to drink out of toilets in front of lawmakers?
He Has No Agenda
Rodriguez has been an adviser to President Trump and former presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama on immigration reform. His agenda isn’t political – it involves solving the humanitarian crisis at the border.
AOC, on the other hand, has different motivations, via Fox News:
In fact, some told him the sources from whom the negative coverage originated “never toured the areas of the facility that we toured” and speculated they might have had political motivations.
You mean Ocasio-Cortez placed her perceived moral values above facts?
The anti-ICE, anti-intellect socialist was recently caught sharing “staged” photos of her weeping and collapsing in horror as she stared at an empty parking lot at another migrant detention facility.
Rodriguez has implored the President and Democrats and Republicans in Congress to work toward an immigration solution. He also seeks to convey that border patrol agents “care about these kids and have a passion for [their] calling.”
