Thursday’s release of the Inspector General report on the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails revealed that former Director James Comey and an agent assigned to the case were using their own private emails to conduct official government business.
In other words, they were engaged in the same grossly negligent extremely careless behavior as the very person they were charged with investigating, creating an incredibly obvious conflict of interest.
“We identified numerous instances in which Comey used a personal email account to conduct unclassified FBI business,” the report reads, something they describe as “inconsistent with Department policy.”
Worse, Peter Strzok, the FBI agent who played a role in the Clinton email investigation, also used private email which involved information from the Anthony Weiner investigation that was under seal at the time. (RELATED: Report Indicates ‘Foreign Actors’ Accessed Hillary Clinton’s Emails).
So, everybody at the FBI involved in determining the legality of @HillaryClinton‘s private emails…

Clinton took the opportunity to troll Comey over the revelations, using a phrase often heard on the campaign trail in 2016 to justify support for Donald Trump over Crooked Hillary.
“But my emails,” she wrote.

Hilary might want to stay in her lane, since Comey’s own use of a private email account may very well have led to his decision to exonerate her and not seek criminal charges.
After all, he’d have to be recommending charges on something he, himself, was engaged in.
Rep. Ron DeSantis responded to Hillary’s tweet, however, by pointing out she wasn’t exactly winning the argument by pointing out Comey had done the same thing she had done.
After all, there was the thorough destruction of her emails – the coverup – which made things look a lot worse for the former Secretary of State.
“But BleachBit,” he responded in epic fashion.

The IG report “found that, given the absence of exigent circumstances and the frequency with which the use of personal email occurred, Comey’s use of a personal email account for unclassified FBI business to be inconsistent with Department policy.”
“I have gotten emails from some employees about this, who said, ‘If I did what Hillary Clinton did I’d be in huge trouble,'” Comey told audience members of the FBI’s annual SAC Conference in San Diego in October of 2016, according to the IG report.
“My response is you bet your ass you’d be in huge trouble,” he added.
So why aren’t Comey and Hillary both in huge trouble?
