Just as most Americans are hoping that the COVID-19 pandemic is becoming history, and much of the nation is seeing mask and vaccine mandate and restrictions being loosened, some high profile Americans have recently tested positive for the virus.
Just in March alone, former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and for the second time, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, have all come down with COVID.

Last week, former President Barack Obama tested positive. He took to Twitter and said, “I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise.” He added that former First Lady Michelle Obama had tested negative.
Obama used the tweet to push vaccines and booster shots.
The Obamas had spent most of the winter in Hawaii and had just recently returned to Washington, according to CNN.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced on Tuesday that she had tested positive a second time for COVID. Psaki was scheduled to travel to Belgium and Poland with President Joe Biden on Wednesday, but instead will quarantine.
Psaki also tested positive last October just prior to a trip to Italy and Scotland with Biden. She explained that the positive result was because of a member of her household had also tested positive.
Psaki also thanked the vaccine, saying, “Thanks to the vaccine, I have only experienced mild symptoms.”

On Tuesday, former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also announced she had tested positive for COVID. She also said that former president Bill Clinton had tested negative but was was quarantining out of an abundance of caution.
While COVID-19 is a deadly serious disease, and every precaution should be taken if one has been exposed to the virus, it was here that perhaps Hillary Clinton should have ended her tweet.
But she kept going, and asked for movie recommendations while she and the president are in quarantine.
It was after the obligatory vaccine mention, and the health report on the president, where things went south.
The obvious choice was of course, “13 Hours,” the film about the terrorist attack that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya.
Others thought a trip down memory lane might lift her spirits.
Still another suggestion came from someone who remembered Bill and Hillary in their prime.
And Clinton accuser Juanita Broaddrick had a good reading suggestion if the Clintons need a movie break.
